Here ya go, folks! The first major update since the creation of the nbd! An all new poetry front with navigation to 4 new poems! Click here but also know that the pulldown navigation at the top will now send you to this page as well. Splendid!
So, I participated in the Phantom Madness today, because I'd have to kill the next wide-eyed patron of the video store who asked me "HAVE YOU SEEN IT?!?" So, I've seen it. I went at 11am on a Saturday. I saw it for the cheapest possible price in the biggest possible theatre (biggest in VA, actually). I got there 10 minutes before it started, got popcorn and still had my choice of seats when I entered the auditorium. Yeah, I bet it was a lot of fun to sleep on cold hard concrete one night to buy the tickets the afternoon they went on sale and then a week later stand in line for another three hours to sit in the very back corner of the theatre, separated from your three friends 'cause you couldn't find that many seats together, but me? I'll take my optimum seating with minimum stress and hassle. Can't wait for Episode II...
Now I've shamelessly referenced Star Wars twice and my hit count will probably remain stagnant. Oh well, I love each and every one of the three of you who read this stuff...

Tomorrow!!! All new Poetry page with new poems!!! and Coming soon: A Two-Week Update to the Chronicle of 100 Days!!! Hold on to your hats, folks, we're about to explode!!!!
May 16, 1999
I've been outta school now for eleven days and summer has started out in hyperspace, and Star Wars hasn't even come out yet. Hmmm... I wonder if a Star Wars reference will boost my hit count...
In cyberspace, no one can here you update...
What to say... its another black box, my favorite part of my page, since its stream of consciousness and cut and paste to the updates page and its done... So, its been a week and some change and as yet I still have the same annoying job, my sunburn has faded back to my royal whiteness, I've heard the phrase "So, what do you want to do?" upwards of 45 times and spent the equivalent of four whole days sitting around staring at my friends. Occasionally their mouths move and sound comes out, but it seems we always seem to talk about the old days, or even the days recently gone by. But not really the days to come. I was talking with a friend (Hi Anna!) about how talking about the old days gets old itself and she said,"Well, talk about the new days then. You know, make stuff up." I thought that was a really fantastic idea. But even just sitting around the days are flying by. In two weeks I'll be in summer school and from there we're fast-tracking back to the fall... Okay, so I shouldn't be saying things like that in the middle of May, but... I just go where the mood takes me, ya know? This summer needs to find an identity. Keep checking the Chronicle of 100 Days and we'll see what transpires...

It's Mother's Day, fanboys and girls, so you best be nice to your mommies or you won't be nothing! Wow, now that I got that out of my system...
It's now summer for me. I've been out of class for three days now and I've got to say that I have very little interesting to say about my prospects for the summer. For me, summer vacation is more of a New Year's celebration than January 1st. It's certainly a school days (daze?) phenomenon as the summer months push the spring and winter seasons that preceded them to the background of the mindscape and only Freedom from The Institution lay before you. I ponder all the things I'll do over the summer... get a job, read some books (for fun, gasp!), maybe do some yardwork, work on this here webpage and hang out with my friends. I know what I'll do most of though... absolutely nothing. That's what really happens. And just like New Year's Resolutions are forgotten by February, come late August you'll wonder what happened to your summer as you count out a 100 days but remember only a handful. So, I'm being negative. This could be the summer of my life, or at least the summer where I do all those things that I said I was going to do... Let's see what happens. Here's to the Summer of '99 and A Chronicle of 100 Days

MAY DAY! MAY DAY!!! Everybody procrastinates, right? Well, a lot of people do. I mean, things just don't seem to be important enough to take the time to do untl the last minute. Well, perhaps not for everyone, but I know I'm not alone in this. What happens, though, when you've procrastinated too much and you really don't have a chance and finishing that which you should have done a long time ago? Has procrastination become failure or is it just a means to that end? Failure is a running theme here at blankspaces so there'll be plenty more on that topic elsewhere in these pages.
Construction of the site continues, I think most of the links work, some of the pages are shedding the remnants of the feed and I'd like to welcome The Bilk, so go there and see what that's all about.

You know how on planes they have those recorder things and they call it a black box and what it basically does is preserve some information about what's happening to the plane so that should it fall out of the sky and crash in the Everglades or Cleveland the Associated Paparazzi will have some idea of whose names to splash on the headlines? Well, this box is black too. So, if I end up in Cleveland, this will explain why.
While I'm thinking of it, any links that actually work are to old stuff. I plan on redoing them all, but well, it took me a month to do this much.
NEW BLANK DOCUMENT DEBUTS Updates now a black box

All right, all right! I'm looking at my numbers for the last week and I'm thinking either everybody's outta school or I need to put some new stuff up! Well, I'm back to school this week too (Boo!) and back to a normal schedule, so... we'll try to get cranking on this stuff. I talked to the man, Stephen Stewart and he's agreed to help with the c/o'97 thing, so keep your eye on it. It has some AIM names up there now too. Oooh... and for the rest of you, some Random Reviews real soon and a rant or three. Promises, promises, I know...
March 9, 1999
Geez! Has it been a week? Where does the time go? Well, what I have for you is a new quizlet and a new link over in the third column. I should move it out of the third column, but, well, that'd be too much work. So click here to see how the last poll ended up, and click here for the revamped YHS Class of 97 email directory. Yeah!

Economics midterm, who cares about an Economics midterm? I'm going to boldly proclaim VICTORY over the nasty 404 monster! I dare you to find one! And if you do, tell me, so that I might vanquish the stain as I have all his bretheren. Hey, I'll throw you a new poem, too. Maybe even a new rant by the time the night is through...
March 1, 1999
The ongoing battle against the 404 is again victorious as another pair of quality-killing vermin are quashed.
February 28, 1999
Ladies and Gentlemen, it's been a long week. Sadly, the first of what will be many long weeks. Today, there's a new quizlet, which means that there is also a result to put on the Results page. So there's one less 404 running around. Aren't you glad? Sign up for the mailing list!!!
February 24, 1999
Due to various complaints, clonefeed has been downgraded to a sneak preview. Good news is, I've got a little more of an original format, some new graphics and 50% less 404s! Who loves ya, baby? Oh, and Netscape users can now see the quizlets and the message rotation!!! YeeHAW!

Got a link on prolefeed! I guess I really gotta finish this thing now, huh?
February 19, 1999
Okay, I let you heathens in, so you better play nice! Sign guestbooks, do quizlets and such. No wrecking the place til I'm finished, which, judging by how long its taken me to get this far, will be never... got it? I expect some feedback or at least a good flaming from each and everyone of you! Now, chop chop... I've got more pages to write...
February 16, 1999
Popped in some Beatles, Rubber Soul as in my page is going nowhere, man...
Well, another evening of kicking out the jams. I think I'll put up the outside link tonight. You know how sometimes a new restaurant will open but not all the booths will be in or something, so its not the grand opening, just kinda the opening... that's what's happening here. YEAH! I think...
February 15, 1999
Today, I'm adding some more tomfoolery and going back to the old pages and bringing them in line with the clonefeed style. Is this conformity good? I think it makes the site look tighter, instead of the loose confederation of pages that a lot of sites present... Threw in some new Life Postulates too...
February 13, 1999
Behind the scenes work continues after a couple days off. Discoveries have lead to some concerns that perhaps the attitudes toward cloning might not be as favorable as hoped and that as soon as we finish the bulk of the site and give it a grand launch, Version 2.0 immediately be put into the developmental stages. Too bad too, I really like this idea. But I guess, if its not kosher, its not kosher.
February 3, 1999
Okay, so crazy schedules have pushed the launch of clonefeed back a bit, but testers comments have been positive, so we're concentrating on good content, rather than timeliness... serious cranking today though...
January 21, 1999
Everything's coming together. Got the server space for the site today as well as many of the pages written and uploaded. Tenative launch date set: Groundhog Day!
